2013 Bataleon Disaster Men's Snowboard Key Features:Triple Base Technology (TBT) - Triple base technology divides the nose and tail area of the board into 3 parts: the left and right side bases for turning and the center flat middle section for going straight. The side bases have gradually increasing angles starting from flat in the binding area, to maximum lift at the widest points. This makes the board forgiving when ridden flat, but still grippy when put on edge. Combining a full tip-to-tail classic camber with a rail to rail concave, TBT offers the looseness of a rocker board with the pop and response of a camber deck. The unique thing about TBT is that even with the rider's weight pushing down on the board the edges stay lifted. On edge the camber is loaded, ready to pop you into your next turn. Meanwhile, the edge is fully engaged with a solid power distribution along a smooth edge curve.Jib TBT - Jib TBT is great for jibbing and urban riding. The TBT lift starts under your feet for a super loose effect while the extra wide center base stabilizes your slides and presses.Tough Core - This core is made using a pressure bonded wood composite technology. The end result is a flexible board that is very hard to break. This core is especially designed for a soft jib flex without sacrificing strength.Biax Laminate - Biax laminates over and under the wood core create an easy flex with lots of feel.Hammer Edge - The edges of the board are thicker, stronger and more durable than an average edge.Extruded Base - This base is easy to repair and can take a good beating.
